(AP) Taylor Swift has topped Spotify’s list of the top songs on the streaming service for April through May, as her new album “Welcome To My Life” moves to No. 1 on the album chart.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums.
Taylor Swift’s “Welcome to My Life,” which topped Spotify in the month of April, moved to No .1 on April 18 with a new album release, according to Nielsen Music.
“This is what happens when we’re not doing anything else,” Swift said in a statement Friday.
“It’s really cool to see this chart.”
Her new album is also the top-selling album of the month in the U.S. and the top album of March.
Taylor has a slew of new music to promote this spring, including a new video for “Love Story” and her new single “Bad Blood.”
The album peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 on March 23, breaking the previous record for the chart.
It has sold more than 4.5 million copies, according the Associated Press.
It was the third-most-sold album in U.K. history behind Taylor Swift and Britney Spears’ “Red” (2011).
Swift and her husband, rapper Chris Stapleton, released their third album, “I Knew You Were Trouble,” in April.
The album debuted at No .2 on the U, U.P. and R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart.
