Juventus are aiming to break their six-game losing streak to Barcelona on Tuesday night and have named the squad for their home game against the Catalans in Turin.
Guardiola has confirmed that Pogba, who has missed all of the last two seasons due to injury, will be in the starting line-up, while Messi will be at the back.
Messi, who scored a hat-trick against Sevilla last season, and Pogba are the only Juventus players on the list, while Paulo Dybala is also included.
The Bianconeri have won four out of their last five away games, including victories over Fiorentina and Lazio, but they are without Neymar, who is also recovering from a knee injury.
Messina is the club’s most expensive player, with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain all bidding to sign him.
